Raised outside Atlanta, GA, Superintendent Huntsman earned degrees from William Penn University, Weber State University, and Southern Utah University and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Texas Tech University. Superintendent Huntsman’s favorite book at this time is The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins. A quote that Superintendent Huntsman loves is, “Do not get lost in a sea of despair. John Hughes received his Associate of Science at the College of Eastern Utah (Now USU-E), Bachelor of Science from Southern Utah University, and Masters of Educational Leadership from the University of Utah. John Hughes couldn’t pick a favorite book when asked, but he is currently reading "Sunrise on the Reaping" by Suzanne Collins. For this week’s #MeetTheSuperintendentMonday, we’re thrilled to introduce Piper Riddle, Executive Director of Northeastern Utah Educational Services. Piper was raised in Boise, Idaho. Piper Riddle has a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Boise State University, a Master's degree in Mathematics Education from Southern Utah University, and an Education Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction degree from Utah State University. She has worked in public education as a teacher, instructional coach, and administrator for over 20 years, and is delighted with the great work for student achievement and success that is taking place in public schools. One of her favorite quotes is “One of the criticisms I’ve faced over the years is that I’m not aggressive enough or assertive enough, or maybe somehow, because I’m empathetic, it means I’m weak.
