March
Why do we celebrate President's Day? President's Day was established in 1879 to celebrate the birthday of the nation's first president, George Washington, born February 22, 1732. Later, the holiday grew to honor our 16th president Abraham Lincoln, born February 12, 1809.

I updated the JLC tracking sheet last night and USBA, USSA, and UASBO are now tracking 102 bills related to education. In our weekly meetings, JLC has supported or opposed 54 bills. We have two more weeks to take positions. This is not sustainable.
