As our next Meet the Superintendent Monday, we’re thrilled to introduce Dr. Ben Dalton, Superintendent of Kane County School District. Raised in Minersville, Utah, Ben pursued education with passion, earning his degrees from Southern Utah University and a Doctorate from William Howard Taft University.
His favorite book is Good to Great by James C. Collins, and he lives by the motto coined by Horace Mann: "Education is the greatest equalizer."
In 2022, Superintendent Dalton was honored as Utah Superintendent of the Year! Thank you for your dedication and service to education Dr. Dalton!

As our next installment of Meet the Superintendent Monday, we’re excited to introduce Ralph Squire. the Superintendent of South Sanpete School District. Superintendent Squire is originally from Manti, Utah, so being able to have him as Superintendent of South Sanpete School District, the school district he would have attended has been very exciting. Superintendent Squire is very passionate about education, and attended Southern Utah University (SUU) to receive his higher education.
Superintendent Squire's favorite book is Fish by Stephen C. Lundin and he lives by the wise words of Mother Teresa, "People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives. Be kind anyway. If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway. If you find happiness, people maybe jealous. Be happy anyway. The good you do today maybe forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway. Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway. For you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.”
