As our next Meet the Superintendent Monday, we’re thrilled to introduce Dr. Dan Linford, Superintendent of Davis School District. Superintendent Linford was raised in Clearfield, Utah and received his bachelor’s degree in English teaching from Weber State University and a master’s degree and doctorate in Educational Leadership & Policy from the University of Utah. When asked for his favorite book, he let us know that this was a difficult choice and there were too many to list considering his background in English, but he ultimately he answered "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Superintendent Linford's motto he lives by is "Argue for your limitations, and sure enough, they're yours," wise words provided by Richard Bach. Thank you for your dedication and passion to education Superintendent Linford, Davis School District is so lucky to have you leading the charge. #MeetTheSuperintendentMondays #EducationalLeadership #DavisSchoolDistrict #EducationMatters
